Purpose of the HR Administrator: You will manage the employee lifecycle for all UK‐based employees – onboarding, transfers, exits and everything in between – directly within the Workday system. Your role acts as a bridge between HR operations and technology, ensuring data accuracy, supporting employees with Workday and maintaining compliance for employee files.
Responsibilities:
- Handle onboarding documentation and follow up through Workday, Right to Work checks and employee record maintenance within the system.
- Provide accurate, consistent, efficient and timely support to drive operational excellence in all aspects of the employee life cycle.
- Draft employee letters in relation to contractual changes, employee relations, and communicate changes to employees and payroll effectively.
- Monitor integration reviews, remind managers, and take appropriate action escalating when necessary.
- Monitor fixed‐term contract end dates, ensuring timely processing of extensions and/or terminations.
- Support all administration for candidates on mobility programmes.
- Work with the HRIS Manager to keep the intranet up to date.
- Manage Purchase Orders and vendor creation in SAP Finance.
- Manage requests for staff purchases.
- Guarantee HR data quality at all times, ensuring correct information is logged to enable the monthly payroll to be processed on time and without errors, spotting potential issues as they arise.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, resolving queries regarding Workday.
- Generate standard and ad‐hoc reports from Workday to support the HR team.
- Support implementation for core HR initiatives, updates and projects in the region.
- Collaborate within the HR team to ensure overall aims and objectives are achieved, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in all areas.
Qualifications:
- Hands‐on experience with Workday is essential.
- Proven experience in a fast‐paced HR environment with a large employee population.
- Strong understanding of standard HR processes, including onboarding, employment law, employee life‐cycle processes and HR compliance requirements.
- High accuracy in data entry and contract/letter generation – strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support employees and managers with technical or process questions.
