We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Global Ecommerce Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day ecommerce operations, driving cross-functional collaboration, and supporting the strategic growth of our digital platform. This is an ideal role for someone looking to develop their career in ecommerce within a luxury environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with Brand Marketing, IT, CRC, and International Ecommerce teams to maintain operational excellence, resolve issues swiftly, and ensure our clients receive an exceptional online experience.
- Ecommerce Operations & Execution: Oversee daily e-commerce operations including order flow monitoring, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination. Conduct daily website reviews to identify potential bugs, raising tickets for all website issues and tracking resolution status through to completion. Support promotional campaign execution, ensuring offers and functionality work correctly across all digital touchpoints. Monitor system health and troubleshoot operational issues in partnership with technical teams. Verify product data accuracy in collaboration with the Digital Merchandiser to maintain catalogue integrity. Manage Google My Business and store locator, ensuring store information is accurate and up to date.
- Reporting & Analytics: Produce weekly sales reporting and contribute to sales analysis, tracking monthly performance KPIs (e.g. traffic, conversion, AOV, UPT). Monitor website performance metrics and analytics, flagging issues and opportunities to support data-driven decision making. Support ad hoc reporting requests to inform business decisions and identify performance trends.
- Budget & Resource Management: Maintain and support ecommerce operational budgets, coordinate vendor set-ups and raise process purchase orders. Monitor packaging materials inventory in collaboration with the Logistics Operations team, supporting with re-order and re-stock with demand planning teams.
- Content & Digital Support: Support the Digital Content Specialist in publishing and managing website content within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Assist in production of product copy by collaborating with external copywriters, managing translations, and uploading content to the PIM. Support ecommerce photography production as needed, ensuring timely image uploads before product launches and coordinating with the Brand Image Photography team for proper image management. Support with planning the content calendar for website updates and newsletters.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with international teams on operational requirements, issue escalation, and process alignment to ensure global consistency. Coordinate general administrative tasks for ecommerce team and wider digital teams. Participate in team creative brainstorms and process optimisations.
Experience Success With Us: Proven experience in ecommerce operations or digital coordination. Previous exposure to luxury ecommerce preferred. Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar ecommerce platforms preferred. Highly self-motivated and analytical, with sharp attention to detail and strong numerical skills. A keen interest in ecommerce and digital platforms. Proficient in Excel, with the ability to utilise its functions for data analysis and reporting. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and content management systems. Familiarity with Google Analytics and/or website performance tracking tools. Excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills to manage multiple workload demands. Strong communication skills to engage with various teams, adapting to different communication styles. Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Quick grasp of new processes and systems, demonstrating adaptability and a rapid learning curve. Ability to maintain smooth day-to-day operations while identifying and resolving issues proactively. Translating data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Building strong relationships across teams and geographies to ensure alignment and efficiency. Resourceful approach to troubleshooting technical and operational challenges. Maintaining high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced, luxury environment.
