YOUR MISSION: In accordance with Richemont Europe Physical Security (PS) strategy, objectives, and Group Directives, the Security Director is responsible for the comprehensive management, implementation, coordination, and leadership of all security aspects within the designated area.
Within this framework, the incumbent is responsible for the comprehensive management of all Security processes and initiatives within Richemont UK.
- HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
- Group Physical Security Policies Alignment
- Ensure the alignment of the UK Security structure, organization, and processes with established Richemont requirements.
- Tailor Richemont guidelines and procedures to comply with local laws, regulations, and the prevailing security context as necessary.
- Localize PS procedures, encompassing retail back office operations and General Security Operating Procedures (GSOPs), to effectively address identified local threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain regular communication and liaison with Richemont Europe regarding critical PS processes.
- Foster effective collaboration among all relevant stakeholders, including Richemont Europe Physical Security, Richemont Local functions, Local Brands, and external suppliers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive procedures to prevent fraud and theft, collaborating with relevant brands and functional heads to ensure diligent follow-up and the execution of corrective actions.
- Provide strategic guidance and lead a robust, proactive compliance management program to ensure all locations adhere to PS directives and pertinent local legislation related to PS.
- Oversee and ensure the timely follow-up on PSHS audits and the implementation of associated corrective actions.
- Conduct thorough internal and external investigations pertaining to incidents of fraud, theft, and accidents.
- Implement Group and Regional directives concerning operational and situational risk assessments and management, encompassing:
- Existing Boutiques
- Ensure all boutiques adhere to Richemont Security Boutique Directives and standards, or possess approved exemptions and a defined remediation plan.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and robust security training program for boutique staff.
- Oversee the conduct of regular security audits within boutiques to cultivate a strong security culture, promote sound security practices, and mitigate both internal and external security threats.
- Oversee integrations of brands not in scope and aligning them to Richemont standards
- New Boutiques / Renovations
- Develop a comprehensive security concept predicated on established Security Guidelines and thorough risk analysis.
- Verify that all new construction and renovation projects comply with established construction guidelines.
- Collaborate with regional PS teams to validate the proposed security concept.
- Engage with vendors to procure appropriate, meticulously considered, and professionally presented quotations.
- Ensure all new projects undergo a comprehensive security and safety review to furnish project managers with PS layout requirements, appropriate equipment specifications, and correct operational processes.
Provide pertinent quotations and project management support for PS components.
- Ensure the establishment of a comprehensive PS training plan for new staff.
- Verify that preventative and reactive maintenance for all PS systems is appropriately contracted and executed.
- Local Head Office, RCS Platform & Warehouses
- Ensure adherence to Richemont's security requirements.
- Localize Physical Security (PS) procedures.
- Execute, implement, and provide training on Security Operational Procedures for each designated location.
- Validate security concepts and assess supplier performance.
- Events
- Coordinate and ensure that security concepts for events within the incumbent's purview align with Group event directives.
- Oversee and control the effective implementation of the security concept.
- Relations with External Security Suppliers
- Foster effective collaboration with external security suppliers.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier quality through Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Building a strong network with Police and other luxury brands security departments and other local security entities
- Value Transportation
- Ensure strict adherence to internal directives governing the transportation of cash and valuables.
- Executive Protection
- Define and develop security measures for staff protection.
- Develop and disseminate periodic communications to staff concerning security topics and recommendations for incident prevention.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide preventive measures for international and domestic travellers, tailored to the local security context.
- Deliver training to staff on preventive measures designed to mitigate exposure to security-related incidents.
- Incident Management
- Apply Group and Regional incident management directives and policies, and actively lead the UK Incident Management Team and associated program.
- Provide expert advice to decision-makers on matters pertaining to business continuity and other security-related concerns.
- Team Management
- Manage and develop the Security team, encompassing recruitment, induction, motivation, task assignment , delegation, progress monitoring, performance management and evaluation.
- Develop tailored training and development plans for team members, aligned with their individual skills and career aspirations.
- Budget Management
- Manage and optimize the Security & Safety budget under direct responsibility.
- Integration, Efficiency & Ad-hoc Projects
- Continuously identify opportunities for organizational efficiency.
- Undertake specific integration projects as required.

- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Extensive background encompassing a broad spectrum of security program management responsibilities within a multinational organizational context.
- Demonstrated successful experience in a comparable role for a minimum of three years.
- Profound knowledge of physical security standards, processes, and compliance frameworks.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations, including practical knowledge of relevant rules.
