HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
dunhill is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Senior Copywriter, Brand & Editorial, to help define, protect, and evolve the House voice across all global marketing and communications. This pivotal role will be responsible for delivering refined, accurate, and distinctive copy that resonates with our discerning male clientele and elevates the Maison's narrative across every touchpoint.
- Brand Voice Guardianship: Act as the primary guardian of the dunhill tone of voice across all global marketing and communications, ensuring consistency, precision, and luxury appeal.
- Strategic Content Creation: Develop and write engaging, persuasive, and on-brand copy for all global marketing campaigns, including seasonal launches, product drops, and brand initiatives. Craft compelling narratives for product storytelling across ready-to-wear, tailoring, leather goods, hard product, gifting, and client experience. Produce high-quality copy for a wide range of channels, including: Digital Campaigns, Retail & Clienteling, Events & PR.
- Internal Narrative Translation: Translate complex product, merchandising, and creative briefs into refined, consumer-facing narratives that articulate the Maison's craftsmanship, innovation, and luxury positioning.
- Editorial Leadership: Help develop and maintain comprehensive tone of voice guidance, messaging frameworks, and copy principles for recurring brand and product moments, ensuring editorial excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, PR, Digital, Merchandising, and Regional teams to ensure all copy is accurate, consistent, channel-appropriate, and aligned with overarching brand and business objectives.
- Quality Control & Refinement: Meticulously proofread, edit, and refine all copy, including reviewing and providing feedback on content from agencies, freelancers, regional teams, and internal stakeholders. Ensure all written materials reflect the House’s exacting standards of precision, restraint, craft, and quality.
- Global Adaptation: Provide strategic guidance and support for the adaptation of global copy for regional nuances, working with local marketing teams to ensure cultural relevance while maintaining brand integrity.
- Project Management: Manage multiple deadlines across campaign, trading, and brand calendars, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining the highest editorial standards.
- SEO Integration: Integrate SEO best practices into content creation to enhance online visibility and search engine ranking, where appropriate.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
The successful candidate will be both a precise writer and a strong editorial thinker, able to move confidently between elevated brand storytelling, intricate product detail, compelling commercial messaging, and fast-turnaround channel copy.
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, with a significant portion dedicated to the luxury, premium menswear, or high-end lifestyle sector.
- Demonstrable experience within a luxury Maison, premium menswear brand, editorial platform, creative agency, or global retail business.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional creative writing skills, a sophisticated understanding of luxury brand communication, and experience writing for a discerning male audience.
- Familiarity with tailoring, leather goods, accessories, hard luxury, or craft-led product storytelling is highly advantageous.
- Extensive experience supporting global campaigns, seasonal launches, and developing brand guidelines.
- Proven experience working with regional teams and adapting copy for international markets.
