Client Engagement Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are looking for a warm, proactive and people-oriented Client Engagement Project Manager to support the Michelangelo Foundation during its events.

The main mission is to facilitate the connections between artisans and visitors.

The Client Engagement Project Manager will actively work in collaboration with the Michelangelo Foundation’s Events Manager and team to improve the process, from engaging visitors to manage enquiries and deliveries during all events organized by the Foundation according to the yearly defined programme.

The Client Engagement Project Manager will support:

  • Events where the Foundation has a partnership with
  • Homo Faber Biennial and owned events

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining the process to facilitate the connection between the visitors and the artisans, in collaboration with the Michelangelo Foundation team
  • Developing the tools which are necessary to support the process
  • Proposing new contacts to enrich the database according to the targeted audiences
  • On site presence during the events will be necessary to welcome and engage with event attendees in a professional manner to share the story, materials and process behind artworks,
  • Supporting events operation when needed: provide help for the preparation, especially for the logistics, assist with booth setup, decoration and object display, keep the exhibition clean and visually appealing, help with packing and dismantling
  • Ensure a detailed and clear reporting after the events (quantitative and qualitative)
  • Support the Michelangelo Foundation in managing prospect enquiries

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong interest in the world of culture, crafts, art and design scene
  • Previous experience in coordinating events (experience in retail is a plus)
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to understand how to adapt language and approach according to audience and culture
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects and stakeholders with different deadlines
  • Strong team player mindset and attitude. Proven ability to work supportively and effectively within and across teams and build good working relationships
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Self-motivation with the capability to work independently
  • Computer skills literate (MsSuite, Salesforce)
  • Must be fluent in English, French would be an asset and any other languages highly valued
  • Committed to travelling as needed
