YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the PR & Communications Manager, the PR & Events Executive is responsible for the planning and execution of best-in‑class events for retail, PR and wholesale partners.
This role is pivotal in supporting driving brand visibility, cultural relevance, and commercial impact through exceptional events, collaborations, and high‑profile brand experiences.
As a brand ambassador for IWC, this individual will build and maintain strong relationships across retailers, vendors, agencies, and industry partners, while ensuring IWC Schaffhausen remains at the forefront of the horological landscape.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Events
- Responsible for planning and execution of UK & Ireland calendar of events for retail, wholesale, PR, influence and brand ambassador activations in stores and off site
- Budget management around activations
- Amplification IWC brand events with specific focus on top 20 locations to build long term awareness
- Coordination of agencies involved in set up, catering and breakdown of events (experiential/VM)
- Collaborate closely with the HQ Events, Partnerships and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure strategic planning and consistent delivery of brand messaging and visual guidelines across all events and retail activations.
- Sustainability focus front of mind for all events and brand operations
- ROI focus front of mind with wholesale and retail partners events to drive business
- Brand monitor analysis (awareness index) and amplification
- Partnerships
- Working proactively with local and regional wholesale partners to identify opportunities to amplify brand awareness and sales
- Liaising with brand partners to implement an annual events calendar to drive sales and brand exposure.
- Assume local operational responsibility for global partnerships, including but not limited to Laureus, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and Mercedes AMG) ensuring seamless execution of agreed initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc special projects that align with brand objectives and partnership strategies, from conception to completion.
- Operational support & reporting
- Conduct media monitoring and compile comprehensive reports on press clippings and event coverage, particularly for retail partner activations.
- Coordinate the logistics and movement of product samples for events and press requests, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in event management, marketing, or partnerships, preferably within the luxury retail, hospitality, or automotive sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and managing budgets for high‑profile events.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies, partners, and clients.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and luxury brand aesthetics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word) and experience with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive, creative, and results‑oriented with a passion for luxury brands and the horological industry.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UK & Ireland.
