An exciting opportunity for a Café Team Leader to join R Family at our new Marina Café. We are looking for a team member to support the Café Manager, with an ambition for success, excellent organisational and communication skills.
Our Café Team Leader will primarily be a ‘hands-on’ role which will involve:
- Preparing hot and cold beverages including speciality coffee
- Food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
- Operating the till and handling of payments
- General duties such as cleaning
Compliance with health and hygiene regulations is paramount. In the absence of the Manager, the successful applicant will:
- Direct the team
- Manage rotas and stock successfully
- Ensure highest levels of quality and standards of service are delivered
- Make sure the café is clean and presentable at all times
Excellent customer service skills are required, delivering warm and friendly hospitality to visitors.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays.
Rate of Pay: £10.61 per hour increasing to £11.61 in March 2023.
