We are currently recruiting for a permanent Project Manager to join a growing Water / Utilities Contractor who specialise in water treatment and infrastructure works working with domestic housing and local water authorities.
This role is suited to a Project Manager with strong utilities experience who is confident managing projects from planning through to completion within live environments, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
You will take full responsibility for the management of water and utilities projects, overseeing site teams, subcontractors and supervisors while coordinating programmes, resources and budgets. The role involves close liaison with clients, local authorities and utility providers, ensuring compliance with NRSWA requirements, permits and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager within water, utilities or streetworks environments, with a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
- A valid SMSTS qualification is essential.
- Strong knowledge of NRSWA, permits, reinstatement standards and safe systems of work is required.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
