We are working with a Consultancy who supports a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. Seeking a permanent Building Surveyor / Building Control Inspector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Building Control inspections across a range of projects.
- Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with Building Regulations.
- Provide clear technical advice to clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed records.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to support compliance and delivery standards.
- Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Building Control service.
Requirements:
- Experience within Building Control, Building Inspection or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently.
- Must be a Registered Building Inspector, Class 2D–2F+, with Class 3G/H or 2F registration also accepted where applicable.
- Previous experience within a council or at least 2 years’ field experience is essential.
- Hybrid or mobile working pattern depending on assignment. There is also an opportunity for contract work.
