For three years running, we have been recognized as the Property Care Association contractor of the year. With a network of 16 branches across Scotland and the North of England, we offer a comprehensive range of property preservation and repair services to property owners, building professionals, local businesses, and local authorities.
We are now looking to employ a Property Surveyor to become part of our team.
Full Time/Permanent – Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 17:00pm & Friday, 08:00am to 16:00pm.
Job Description
- Carry out surveys in domestic, local authority, and social housing properties.
- Prepare comprehensive reports using word templates, work schedules, plan drawings, and estimates on excel templates.
- Service branch enquiries relating to property defects.
Knowledge, Experience & Requirements
- This position would suit an individual from a trades background with skills relating to an understanding of domestic property construction and simple drawing packages, as well as Office 365.
- Previous experience in surveying insurance claims is preferred.
- Previous construction experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn, take instruction, and learn on the job.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
