Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics and supply chain processes, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of business processes related to warehouse management.

Here at Richard- Whittaker we are passionate about the food industry, for over 60 years, we have been dedicated to dry powder handling and blending and contract packaging. Our team is growing and were looking for talented individuals to join us. We employ over 110 staff which means that we are large enough to cope with the demands of big businesses, yet still small enough to care about those who are just starting out.
Duties
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Implement and maintain transportation management systems to optimise logistics efficiency.
- Monitor and improve business processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the warehouse environment.
- Utilise forklift equipment safely and effectively for material handling tasks.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.

- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within logistics.
