Job Title: Lawyer (Commercial Property and/or Residential Property). Minimum two years’ total property law experience preferred.

Terms: Full-time, Market Salary, subject to experience.

Qualifications: A qualified solicitor is preferred. However non-qualified lawyers / conveyancers will also be considered.

We are a dynamic boutique law firm specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential property. Our small close-knit team is based in our modern, spacious offices in South Woodford, London. We were previously based in Central London for 21 years, before moving to our current location in 2017.

About the role

Commercial and / or residential property lawyer with a minimum of two total years’ property law experience. The ideal candidate would have both commercial and residential property experience but a candidate with only one type of experience will still be considered. Examples of the type of work the candidate will be expected to carry out:

  • Commercial lawyer hires:
    • Landlord and Tenant work (including drafting and negotiating commercial leases);
    • Commercial sales and purchases;
    • Development work; and
    • Secured lending.
  • Residential lawyer hires:
    • Residential sales and purchases;
    • Drafting and negotiating residential leases;
    • Residential ‘management’ work; and
    • Secured lending.

Candidate requirements:

  • Two years’ previous property law experience is preferred with strong technical ability;
  • Commitment to delivering high quality legal advice and service to clients;
  • Disciplined and organised;
  • Hard working and diligent;
  • Ability to communicate effectively;
  • Motivated, “can-do” attitude;
  • Team player but also able to manage own case-load without supervision; and
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure.
