About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Employment Solicitor or an experienced Paralegal to join our growing Employment Law Team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload, focusing on advising employees which offers the opportunity to make a real difference to clients facing workplace difficulties, representing them through challenging situations and fighting for their rights. As part of our Team, you will provide specialist legal support to clients navigating these complexities, ensuring they receive expert guidance tailored to their individual circumstances.

Case Management Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of employment matters from inception to conclusion
  • Draft legal documents, policies, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and provide commercially sound advice
  • Conduct cases effectively and efficiently on behalf of clients in accordance with the Firm's policies and objectives
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest professional standards
  • Maintain efficient and cost-effective work practices
  • Utilise time recording systems and IT effectively

Client Representation

  • Act for clients across the full spectrum of Employment Law matters, including Settlement Agreements
  • Representing a broad range of clients including Teachers, Doctors, Nurses and other professionals in regulated sectors

Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years relevant experience
  • Experienced Paralegal with 3 years Employment Law knowledge
  • Proven experience of acting for employees in Employment Law cases

Professional Knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of the obligations of working as a Solicitor or Paralegal, including ethical obligations
  • Knowledge and proficient use of case management systems and IT
