We are working with a leading commodity trading firm who are looking to hire a Junior / Product Control Analyst to join their growing Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years' experience using CTRM systems to build their career in a fast-paced trading environment.
Sitting within the Risk function, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of trading activity across physical and financial transactions. You'll gain strong exposure to trade lifecycle processes, P&L reporting, and front office interaction.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Perform daily trade validation, ensuring all physical transactions are accurately captured in CTRM systems
- Validate curves and pricing (spot/forward) in line with internal procedures
- Conduct mandate and unauthorised trade checks, escalating where necessary
- Monitor trade lifecycle events (amendments, cancellations, invoicing, actualisations)
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards
- Drive automation initiatives and reduce reliance on manual processes
- Partner with Front Office on new products and non-standard trade approvals
This role will suit someone with a degree within Finance, Economics or Risk Management who has a strong attention to detail and an understanding of risk metrics.
