Our client is an established Energy and Commodities Broker, who have been trading for over 10 years. Founded in the US, the business has since expanded into multiple domestic and international offices including London. The business specialises in arranging trades for industry leading companies such as trading houses, energy majors and banks who operate in the energy sector.
Planned organic growth for 2026 means we are looking for experienced Energy and/or Commodity Brokers to join an exciting and growing business in the London locations. If you are someone who has a capped upside because they number two, or three on the desk and the senior broker takes the bulk of the flow – this is your chance to be number one on the desk!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Promote the organisation
- Lead the execution of trades across Energy and Commodities, ensuring precision and adherence to market standards.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, delivering tailored solutions to meet their trading and investment objectives.
- Provide clients with in-depth market insights, forecasts, and recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the client base and grow market share.
- Monitor global market trends, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes, leveraging insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and support junior brokers, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute business strategies aligned with market dynamics.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- 1-5+ years brokerage experience, with a focus on Energy and Commodities, with an existing book of business, generating at least $500k annually
- Someone hungry for progression and visibility
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-value client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of market analysis tools, trading platforms, and relevant industry regulations.
