As the Trade Support function continues to evolve, the team is investing heavily in automation, digitalisation and smarter control processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape this evolution by identifying process improvements, supporting systems enhancements and contributing to the adoption of AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Trade Support, Trade Control or Middle Office professional who can operate autonomously across controls, systems and regulatory topics, take ownership of end-to-end deliverables and act as a technical reference point for junior team members.

  • Support the execution and documentation of internal control frameworks, including control evidence collection, issue identification and remediation tracking.
  • Monitor key trade lifecycle events, including futures expiry, option exercises, amendments and cancellations, ensuring accurate system representation and timely escalation where required.
  • Support exchange and clearing activities, including reconciliations with clearing houses, broker fee validation, margin controls and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations.
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end control activities across physical and financial trading portfolios.
  • Support regulatory control activities, including reporting and reconciliations relating to EMIR, REMIT, MiFID II and Dodd-Frank.
  • Lead automation and digitalisation initiatives within the Trade Support team, identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy and scalability of control processes.
  • Support the assessment and implementation of AI-based solutions, system enhancements, testing and change initiatives.
  • Provide Trade Support input into the approval and onboarding of new products and non-standard trading activities.
