Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join the team based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position. Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all commercial, contractual and ‘scope’ documentation for contract(s)
- Lead contract ‘scope’ discussions and development, ensure out of contract works are identified, managed by operations teams with full attention to revenue recovery.
- Ensure / drive consistency of process and commercial behaviour across RIFM contracts.
- Drive month end billing processes to maximise revenues and minimise work in progress.
- Identify and implement contract efficiencies in conjunction with operations teams.
- Oversee and support quote/tender preparation by operations and project team/s.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience preferable
- Ideally educated to Degree level or similar in a business or technical discipline.
- Experience of managing multiple contracts.
- Previous experience of developing client relationships at a stakeholder level is essential.
- High degree of flexibility in working hours with willingness to work flexible hours over a 24/7 operation.
- Full driving license.
