Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a General Maintenance Technician to join the team based at a static site in Causewayside, Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
  • Respond promptly to reactive repair requests and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance areas
  • Completion of all required documentation utilising the handheld Tablet system or customer paperwork

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations
  • Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example
  • Good communication skills
