Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a Support Services Assistant to join the team based in Inverness, UHI House, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position. The hours are either 6:30am to 14:30pm or 10:00am to 18:00pm. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and ambitious individual to join an already thriving business and start or develop their career as they build on Richard Irvin’s established success.
The post holder will work as part of a flexible team providing professional comprehensive and high-quality domestic services to all facilities at the UHI House, Inverness. Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake mail and parcel collection and delivery.
- To undertake meeting room re-arrangements as required.
- To operate at all times with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, waste disposal, etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.
- To respond to helpdesk calls as required during working hours.
- To ensure the safe storage of all chemicals and cleaning consumables.
- To provide adequate supplies of cleaning consumables in the appropriate areas.
Qualifications and Experience: The post holder will be required to perform duties appropriate to the post other than those given in the job description. The particular duties and responsibilities associated with attainment of key results may also be varied without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. As a result of such variations, it may be necessary to update this job description from time to time following appropriate consultation. The applicant will be required to have a basic Disclosure Scotland check.
