Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for a Trainee General Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers, and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the maintenance routines of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture, and mobile trolleys.
- Carrying out repairs and installation of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture, and mobile trolleys.
- Completion of all required documentation utilising the handheld Tablet system or customer paperwork.
- Order materials for jobs where requested by Operations Manager and/or Service Coordinator.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
