Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, are recruiting for a Trainee General Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the maintenance routines of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture, and mobile trolleys.
- Carrying out repairs and installation of mobile and fixed shelving systems, stepladders, furniture, and mobile trolleys.
- Completion of all required documentation utilising the handheld Tablet system or customer paperwork.
- Order materials for jobs where requested by Operations Manager and/or Service Coordinator.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
