This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and ambitious individual to join an already thriving business and start or develop their career as they build on Richard Irvin’s established success. You will be required to spend block periods at college along with on-the-job training, working alongside a fully qualified Domestic Gas Service Engineer.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.

Responsibilities:
  • Help to carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
  • Help to carry out the installation / replacement of new or existing gas appliances and heat emitters.
  • Installation of gas pipework including appropriate tightness / strength testing as required.
  • Replacement of heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Carry out Combustion Performance Analysis to gas appliances as required.
  • Fault investigation and diagnosis utilizing manufacturer’s technical literature.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • IT Literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Hard working, punctual, team player and trustworthy.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
