Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for a Service Delivery Supervisor to join the team based in Glasgow, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day to day delivery of hard FM services across the contract ensuring compliance with MOD, JSP and site specific requirements.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling and completion of SFG20 compliant PPM activities, ensuring all tasks are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard.
  • Manage and coordinate reactive maintenance activities, prioritising works in line with contractual response times and operational criticality.
  • Oversee remedial works arising from PPM inspections, audits and reactive tasks, ensuring accurate scoping, quotation support and timely completion.
  • Support the Operations Manager in the effective delivery of the contract, including workforce coordination, planning and performance monitoring.
  • Carry out regular audits and quality inspections of engineers’ work to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, contract standards and safety procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on site, assisting with fault finding, access issues and resolution of complex maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are correctly recorded within the CAFM system, including job updates, completion notes and asset data accuracy.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance where applicable, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with contract requirements.
  • Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture, ensuring RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are followed at all times.
  • Act as a point of contact for client representatives and site stakeholders, supporting effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist with toolbox talks, briefings and ongoing development of engineering staff to maintain competence and contract standards.
  • Take direction from Operational management for additional tasks required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience supervising projects/teams within a facilities management or construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, risk assessment and control measures.
  • Commercially astute with experience in pricing and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
