Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Undertake the day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of building services installations, including lighting, power, emergency lighting systems, energy conservation, heating controls, hot water systems and renewable systems.
- Undertake the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) for Electrical Inspections and Testing across a wide variety of buildings, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
- Assist other trades as and when required.
- Estimate, requisition and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials to ensure that appropriate and satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out following best practice and Health and Safety at Work regulations.
