Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing and response repairs to electrical services equipment, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Undertake the day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of building services installations, including lighting, power, emergency lighting systems, energy conservation, heating controls, hot water systems and renewable systems.
  • Undertake the planned preventative maintenance programme (PPM) for Electrical Inspections and Testing across a wide variety of buildings, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
  • Assist other trades as and when required.
  • Estimate, requisition and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials to ensure that appropriate and satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out following best practice and Health and Safety at Work regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition qualified with amendment.
