Domestic Gas Service Engineer – Richard Irvin

Location: Wick, United Kingdom. This is a full‑time, permanent position with the RSK Group.

Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting a Domestic Gas Service Engineer to join a team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists based throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
  • Carry out the installation or replacement of new or existing gas appliances and heat emitters.
  • Install gas pipework including appropriate tightness/strength testing as required.
  • Replace heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Conduct Combustion Performance Analysis on gas appliances as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Domestic ACS qualifications – CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1.
  • OFTEC and BPEC registration where required.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Full, clean and current driving licence.
  • Experience with unvented hot water systems.
