The vacancy for an IT & Systems Support Engineer at RSK Group in Aberdeen, UK. This full-time, permanent position requires a dedicated individual capable of providing first-line technical support and contributing to ISO 27001 accreditation.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support issues, escalating where necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to laptop hardware, Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, printers, network connectivity, and other core systems.
- Provide support remotely, over the phone, and in person when required.
- Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation, asset records, and support procedures.
- Help achieve company-wide ISO 27001 accreditation.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Exchange Online, Azure, and other systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in an IT Support or similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, Azure, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Good understanding of IT hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK Driving license.
