Position
Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting an Approved Electrician to join the team based in Lossiemouth, Scotland. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical services, PPM tasks, installations, and reactive repairs.
- Provide remedial fault diagnosis within existing installations.
- Liaise with clients/main contractors regarding progress, PPM requirements and assist with preparation of minor quotes.
- Ensure work progresses in line with company procedures for health and safety and complies with current electrical regulations regarding installation, record keeping and testing.
- Monitor procurement and material delivery against project requirements.
- Represent the company at a site level and promote the company’s abilities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Aware of health & safety regulations.
- Hold a current IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition training certificate.
- Full clean and current driving licence.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative and consult with clients and other contractors.
- Completed an SQA Certificate in electrical installations.
