We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Administration Assistant (College Services Assistant) to join our friendly and supportive College Services Team – the hub of the College.
This is a varied and busy role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role includes working on reception, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, alongside supporting a range of wider administrative and operational tasks across the College.
The successful applicant will be organised, calm and flexible, with the ability to use their initiative to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. They will work closely with staff, governors, students, parents, carers and external agencies, and must be able to work as part of a team while also managing their own workload. A high level of confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
The role also requires confidence in using Microsoft Office applications – particularly Excel – to organise, maintain and work with information accurately, supporting a range of administrative and logistical processes.
Salary: Sixth Form College Support Staff SP5-7 £25,159-£25,951 FTE based on experience. Actual salary: £23,160-£23,889 based on 41 weeks per year.
Hours: 37 hrs per week, term time only + 2 weeks (41 weeks per year). Work pattern: 37 hrs per week, between 8am-5pm, to be discussed at interview.
