We are seeking a proactive, approachable and well-organised Campus Safety and Transport Officer to help maintain a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for our students, staff and visitors.
This is a varied, hands-on role that combines campus safety, student support, incident response and transport coordination. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible and committed to helping ensure the College is a safe and positive place to learn and work. A full, valid UK driving licence suitable for the vehicles you will be required to drive, including manual and automatic vehicles, is essential., We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Is approachable and confident when working with young people and a wide range of colleagues and visitors.
- Can manage competing priorities and respond calmly and effectively to incidents and unexpected situations.
- Has a proactive approach to campus safety, security and safeguarding.
- Can work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Is flexible, enthusiastic and committed to maintaining high standards of service.
- Is willing to undertake professional development and participate in the College's appraisal process.
