Overview

Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.

We are currently seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our hugely successful programme, supporting our students in a variety of disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Coach a group 16-19 year olds of mixed ability, delivering a programme focused on team and player development, as well as enthusing and engaging students to encourage regular participation.
  • Fully embrace the sporting and educational ethos within the College.

Qualifications

  • Coaching experience, current coaching qualifications (Level 2 and above preferred) or a PE teacher qualification, as well as first aid certification.

Salary and Conditions

  • Salary: £16.80 – £25.00 p/hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
  • Hours: Casual hours all year round
  • Start Date: ASAP or by arrangement
  • Closing date: 9.00am 20th October 2025 (we will not review applications received after 8.00am)
