We are looking for a Quality Inspector to ensure that raw materials, composite flat panel, plastic thermoformed and flat panel components meet customer quality standards and specifications.
The principal requirements will be inspection of incoming material, first artical, first off, work-in-progress, and finished product, identifying defects or non-conformities, and maintaining quality records.
Key Responsibilities;
- Inspect raw materials and components against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring and inspection equipment.
- Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements.
- Complete inspection reports, check sheets, and other quality documentation accurately.
- Use measuring equipment such as verniers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Support corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Follow company quality management systems.
- Assist with internal and external audits when required.
