We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our school. The role involves supporting children’s learning and early development, ensuring all children make progress based on their starting points.
Responsibilities
- Assist pupils with learning and development activities in the classroom.
- Implement inclusive practices to support all students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor and support pupils’ progress.
- Work a flexible schedule: 18 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 1.15pm to 3.15pm (3 days only, to be discussed), Friday 08:45am to 15:15pm.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and activities.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies.
Qualifications
- Passion for children’s learning and early development.
- Commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring all pupils progress.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and provide satisfactory references.
