Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC) is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor to join our Hunter New England team on the Huntlee Schools Project. This project includes a preschool, primary school and high school for approximately 3,000 students, with a project value of $140M. Construction is scheduled to commence in June 2026, with completion targeted for November 2027. Due to the size and spread of the project, the build will operate across two delivery teams — one focused on the primary school and the other on the high school.
In this role, you will act as a strong 2IC to the Site Manager, taking ownership of the primary school build and overseeing the day‑to‑day site activities required to deliver the project safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Role- Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities on site
- Lead delivery of the primary school component of the project
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure program milestones are met
- Work closely with the Site Manager as 2IC on overall project delivery
- Maintain strong focus on safety, quality and program
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and sequencing of works
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications
- Provide updates on progress, challenges and solutions to the project team
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on commercial construction projects
- Strong experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
- Ability to drive program, safety and quality outcomes
- Comfortable operating as a 2IC to the Site Manager
- Strong communication and leadership on site
- Relevant construction qualification preferred
