Richard Abson Group are proud to be working with a well-established main dealership in Southport to recruit an experienced Workshop Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised automotive professional to take control of a busy, high-performing workshop and play a key role in its continued success.

The Role

As Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a workshop consisting of 11 Technicians and supporting 3 Service Advisors. You will ensure smooth workflow, maximum efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and allocating daily workloads to 11 Technicians
  • Supporting Service Advisors in managing customer expectations
  • Ensuring all servicing and repair work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
  • Monitoring productivity and workshop performance
  • Accurately recording Technician time
  • Writing clear technical reports and recommendations
  • Maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction levels

The Package

  • £40,000 Basic Salary
  • £6,000+ Uncapped Bonus (Realistic OTE £46,000+)
  • Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:30pm)
