Richard Abson Group are working with a premium car dealership in Chester to recruit an experienced and driven Car Buyer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, high-performing dealer group representing sought-after brands. The business offers genuine progression, ongoing support, and the chance to work within a professional, premium environment.
As a Car Buyer, you will source and purchase vehicles through part-exchange, direct buying, and trade channels. You will appraise vehicles, negotiate effectively, manage stock levels, and work closely with the sales team to ensure the right profile of vehicles is in place to maximise profit.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a Vehicle Buyer, Sales, or similar role within a main dealer or reputable independent.
- Strong negotiation and appraisal skills.
- Good knowledge of used car pricing and market trends.
- Target-driven and commercially aware.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary and working hours:
Basic salary of £26,000 with a realistic OTE of £54,000 (uncapped). Monday to Friday only - no weekends - offering an excellent work-life balance.
