Richard Abson Group is currently assisting a reputable main car dealership in Birkenhead in their search for a skilled and motivated Mechanic.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanic looking to work in a professional and well-equipped workshop as part of a dynamic team.
The role offers a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota, working 8:30am–12:30pm, with all Saturday hours paid at overtime rates.
As a Mechanic, you'll be responsible for
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Working efficiently to achieve individual and team targets.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.
The Ideal Mechanic Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience as a Mechanic in a main dealership, fast-fit centre, independent garage or similar automotive environment.
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
