Salary: £34,000 Basic | £41,000 OTE (on-target earnings)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
Richard Abson Group is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established main car dealership in Shrewsbury.

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment
- Identifying faults and carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
- Completing vehicle health checks and identifying any additional work required
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards for quality and efficiency
- Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology and technical developments
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or independent garage
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
