PURPOSE STATEMENT
Supporting the shift management to effectively manage the production and warehouse operation of the Andover Site during the shift. To support the business to achieve high quality, low cost manufacture, attaining production plan alongside meeting customers’ service and audit and regulatory requirements. To proactively manage the day to day issues and activities of Associates and operators on shift. Supporting and assisting the Shift Manager to ensure management of the shift is effective deputising as appropriate. Supporting specific improvement activities as identified by the Plant and Shift Managers. Working closely with key stakeholders such as Technical, Sanitation, Engineering, R production, warehouse and sanitation to meet plan attainment requirements. Deliver operation’s KPIs including OEE measures that meet/exceed company standards, customer and legislative requirements and current business needs. Supporting the Shift Manager in operational cost management, seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and minimise costs. Supporting the growth and development of a team of highly engaged, high performing associates focusing on improvement of skills and development. Supporting the effective management in line with Company policies and Procedures, Associate life cycle activities such as absence, disciplinary etc. as deemed appropriate by the Shift Manager. During the shift will be responsible for production, warehouse etc, as directed by Shift Manager. Acts as the right hand to the Shift Manager forming a cohesive management unit on shift. Is able to deputise for the Shift Manager. Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the senior team. You must comply with Rich Products Limited Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Critical Experience in a Production
- Track record of managing large operational functions or whole autonomous site
- Demonstrable knowledge of operating production, ideally including warehouse and sanitation
- Proven ability of taking ownership for delivery of results.
- Ability to manage and motivate large diverse teams
- Knowledge of how to manage and lead factory and warehouse.
- Resilient, balanced and calm in challenging situations.
- Assertive, determined and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Emotionally intelligent leader who acts with humility

- Bakery manufacturing knowledge and experience
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics D365
- IOSH/NEBOSH certificate level.
