PURPOSE STATEMENT

As the Engineering Stores Coordinator your responsibility to ensure maximum equipment availability by providing accurate and detailed day to day mapping of the engineering stores.

You will be responsible for creating effective stock takes on monthly basis and working with our OEMs and suppliers to maintain stock levels.

You will have an understanding of engineering or a background in manufacturing and production to understand our engineering requirements.

Engineering spares will be effectively managed to ensure all spares are available to meet PPM planning requirements whilst ensuring costs are in line with budgets.

  • Key Accountabilities/Outcomes
  • Work with the engineering Team to manage effective stocks and spares.
  • Managing a monthly stores budget in line with forecast
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers and ensure financial compliance requirements are met.
  • Working with OEMs and local suppliers to get the most competitive prices
  • Ordering and receiving spares
  • Maintain current stock levels and critical spare levels
  • Using CMMS engineering management system to log and allocate spares, parts and stock items
  • Accurately manage stock including scheduled cycle count requirements
  • Receiving and checking of incoming spares and parts
  • Support Rich Products TPM program
  • Carrying out tasks required by the Site Engineering Manager
  • Ensure compliance to company food safety, hygiene and quality standards as appropriate to drive a quality food manufacturer, meeting Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) and legislative requirements competent authorities.
  • To support Financial, H&S and Food Safety Compliance audits.
  • Actively champion Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment.
