Partner with the commercial and supply chain teams, delivering insight that drives value creation through better decisions and stronger execution.
Develop strong, trusted relationships across the business through ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, work closely with the Enterprise Service Organisation [ESO]/ Finance Centres of Excellence to enhance overall Enterprise effectiveness.
Provide support to global transformation initiatives.
• Business partner finance lead, providing insight relating to customer and product profitability, cost to serve and facilities [operations] to optimize financial performance.
• Proactively monitor market trends to identify and understand business challenges/ opportunities and advise on product portfolio optimization.
• Participate in the development of pricing and profitability models for new and existing products and customers.
• Support the businesses AOP [Annual Operating Plan], and monthly Flash forecast processes for all product categories. Collaborate with key stakeholders for gap closing plans.
• Clearly explain business and financial drivers for product and customer profitability, working closely with the UK Finance Director, Senior Cost Accountant and Accounting Manager to help clarify variances, reconcile data and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Continuously review finance business partnering processes for effectiveness, implementing improvements to deliver added value.
• Liaise with Supply Chain CoE on clear understanding of all Supply Chain costs for Andover.
• Develop positive working relationships with the ESO and finance CoE, championing best practice.
• Support Enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Create an environment that fosters financial awareness and empowerment with non-finance associates.
• Provide support to internal and external audits, supporting a robust control environment.
• Keep abreast and up to date on finance advancements in analysis and insight.
• Compliance with Rich Products Limited Health and Safety policies and procedures, always.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years work experience of Finance acquired working as a business partner within the food sector (manufacturing/food service/retail).
• Qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA.
• Able to prioritize and work independently with limited supervision.
• Operates with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail, recognising the impact of inaccurate master data.
• Solutions orientated mindset with the ability to work at pace and cope with ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude to build trust and rapport with stakeholders & managers at all levels.
• Experience of operating within a global matrix organisation.
• Collaboration champion.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel VLOOKUP’s, SumIfs, pivot tables).
• Experience of SAP4/HANA/ Microsoft D365.
