We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior DT Technician with the passion and commitment to join this high achieving, happy and successful staff team. Ricards Lodge High School is an outstanding, successful and vibrant multi-cultural comprehensive school for girls with a co-educational Sixth Form. We have high expectations of all our students and provide a dynamic and stimulating environment in which they can learn and develop as individuals.

The roles include:

  • Be responsible for supervising the technical support team to assist staff and students in the preparation, management, and maintenance of D&T Department resources and equipment.
  • Monitor and evaluate technicians’ roles to support staff and students in practical lessons.
  • Supervise and motivate the Design and Technology Technicians Team (DTTT).
  • Maintain and order necessary materials, tools, equipment, machinery.
  • Maintain an orderly, catalogued storage system.
  • Keep a stock of tools, spare items, and components to enable rapid repair and replacement of apparatus.
