Responsibilities include promoting a positive, optimistic attitude to learning and achievement within the school, with students, parents/carers, and the wider community. You will implement and role model Attachment Aware and Trauma informed practice, working as part of a team with referred students to remove and address barriers to their learning. You will plan and implement bespoke reflective behaviour modification tasks with support from the inclusion team, pastoral team, and behaviour leads.

Your role involves working with students, parents/carers, and colleagues to identify barriers to learning for referred students and raise their standards of attainment and progress, especially in English and Mathematics. You will follow all school policies and practices such as KCSIE, Child Protection, Behaviour for Learning, Health and Safety, and Personal and Professional Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience: You may have a degree in psychology, sociology, education, or youth work and/or experience of working with teenagers and young adults in education settings. Your previous experience might include social care, youth work, mentoring, higher level teaching assistants, or work with vulnerable young people. Training will be available.

You will enjoy and thrive in our high achieving and happy school, recently inspected as outstanding. All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment. As part of our need to comply with UK immigration rules, you will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.
