The role involves supporting the indirect team to assist stores, site, and the test team with day-to-day procurement activities, specifically for the sites in Shoreham-By-Sea and Leamington-Spa.

Key Duties:

  • Raise purchase orders for goods and indirect services whilst also supporting the project team when required.
  • Work closely with accounts payable to goods receipt and clear any parked invoices.
  • Liaise with existing suppliers and source alternative suppliers where necessary.
  • Work closely with the stores team to consolidate supply base.
  • Monitor the purchasing inbox to assist with all queries.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Effective and efficient problem solver.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of working with a stores department or warehousing function would be preferred.
