Key Responsibilities:
- Complete day to day activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Accurate provision of components to the Production Line aligned to the Production Plan.
- Use of the Warehouse Management System (LN) to locate and transfer parts in accordance with First In First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Picking of components to Internal Parts Requests (IPR) for Rework requirements.
- Picking of Spares Orders to meet customer requirements.
- Able to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders to provide progress updates where required and to escalate any day to day issues as they arise.
- Work closely with the Goods In Inspection Team to ensure that parts can be inspected in good time to meet Production requirements.
- Ability to deputise for Logistics Team Leaders in periods of absence to cover Goods In/Out.
- Assist with Stock Counts or Investigations where required.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping both internally and externally.
- Processing of waste materials in accordance with expected waste recycling streams.
- Any other Logistics related tasks as requested by Management or Team Leaders.
Key Competencies and Experience:
- Role will be predominantly based at STC although there may be occasions where off site visits are required.
- Good communication skills to work with all interested stakeholders.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team to achieve day to day targets.
- Be willing to work overtime when required.
- Experience in a fast moving Logistics environment.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Mechanical Handling Equipment Licenses (FLT, Stacker Truck).
