The predicted salary is between 23 - 23 £ per hour.

Salary: £23.29 per hour (inclusive of 30% weekend shift premium). This will increase to 2026 rate for March start date.

The Role

  • A Friday, Saturday, Sunday shift - 12 hour shifts, commencing March 2026.
  • This position supports small batch CNC turning work for high‑quality transmission components in motorsport and aerospace, working within a small, focused team and supported by offline programming tools.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and planning route cards to produce components to the highest quality, within routed timeframes.
  • Experience working on CNC lathes, including:
  • Victor Turn II 26 HD
  • Leadwell LTC 25iL with Siemens 828D
  • Doosan Puma GT3100
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls is essential; knowledge of Siemens controls is advantageous.
  • Ability to read, understand, and edit CNC programmes, including adjusting speeds and feeds as necessary.
  • Working knowledge of turning tips and their correct applications.
  • Advantageous: experience operating a small manual lathe and/or Harrison Alpha 400 Plus NC lathe.
  • Comfortable working in a small team with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to help meet delivery deadlines.
