The predicted salary is between 16.68 - 16.68 £ per hour.
Salary: Contractor rate £15.68 - £16.68 per hour / Permanent salary £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus benefits
The Role
This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries, with a right first-time philosophy.
Key Competencies and Experience
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes.
- Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements.
- Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous.
- Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required.
- Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines.
