Salary: Contractor rate £15.68 - £16.68 per hour / Permanent salary £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus benefits

The Role

This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries, with a right first-time philosophy.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances.
  • Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes.
  • Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements.
  • Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required.
  • Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines.
