Lancashire based award-winning luxury spa hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Spa Host Team Leader to join its exceptional spa team. Our Spa Hotel is proud to hold a prestigious 5 Bubble Spa rating, offering exceptional facilities alongside truly outstanding guest care. We are now seeking a confident, personable, and service-driven Spa Host Team Leader to play a key role in delivering our renowned spa experience.

About the Role

As Spa Host Team Leader, you will be at the heart of the guest experience, creating a warm and memorable welcome that sets the tone for every visit. Supporting the day-to-day operation of the spa, you will guide the team, enhance the guest journey, and help ensure a calm, seamless, and elevated experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised welcome to all spa guests
  • Support the smooth and effective daily operation of the spa, ensuring a relaxed and well-organised environment
  • Inspire, support, and guide the Spa and Reception teams, fostering a positive and high-performing culture
  • Ensure all spa facilities, including wet areas, relaxation spaces, outdoor areas, and changing rooms, are clean, safe, and well presented
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, or concerns
  • Monitor guest comfort and wellbeing throughout the spa experience
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate stock levels of robes, towels, amenities, and refreshments
  • Support spa retail by promoting products and providing knowledgeable recommendations where appropriate
  • Collaborate across teams, including therapists, reception, and food & beverage, to deliver a seamless experience
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role, ideally within a spa environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest care
  • First Aid qualification or willingness to undertake training
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
  • An interest in wellbeing, guest experience, or team leadership

Availability

We are currently recruiting for two Spa Host Team Leader roles, both offering 32 hours per week across 4 days within a 7-day operation. We offer a range of flexible working options and are happy to discuss availability with applicants to find an arrangement that works well for both the individual and the business. Hours may be structured across full-time and/or part-time positions, depending on experience, flexibility, and overall suitability. Full flexibility is required, including availability to work weekends and bank or public holidays, in order to meet the commercial needs of the business.

Salary

£13.35 per hour.
