Five Star Holiday Village seeks skilled and enthusiastic Green Space Operative to ensure our green space facilities are maintained to a high standard that is expected from our guests.

A brand new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village for a Green Space Operative to join the Grounds team to maintain and nurture the Greenspace areas of the Village.

  • Key Requirements
  • Lawncare and experience in maintenance of grounds and woodland areas
  • Holder of qualification in ride on, pedestrian mowing and strimming
  • Knowledge of maintenance equipment and machinery
  • Spraying certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6 desirable
  • Health and Safety compliant
  • A willingness to attend relevant training courses
  • Tree works and hedge trimming
  • A range of landscaping tasks

Essential Attributes

  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Flexibility, determination and the ability to cope well under pressure
  • Time management skills – the ability to work on more than one task at a time
  • Ability to work on their own initiative within a work environment.
  • A positive attitude and can‑do approach

Full time, 45 hours over 5 days, in a department that operates 7 days per week.

Salary

This role offers a salary range between £33,000 and £35,000 per annum.
