- Building strong relationships with parents, teachers and external professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Adapting learning resources and classroom activities to meet individual needs.
- Promoting communication, emotional regulation, independence and positive social interaction.
Applicants should have previous experience supporting pupils with ASD on a 1:1 basis. Candidates should demonstrate excellent behaviour management, patience and resilience. Knowledge of EHCP targets, autism-friendly strategies and sensory regulation is highly desirable. A calm, proactive and nurturing approach is essential for this position.
