Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take full leadership of a newly established setting? A high-performing Trust is opening new nursery provisions in Bexley this September, as part of a major national investment into early years education. Based within established Primary Schools, these settings are designed to improve access to high-quality childcare and provide children with a strong foundation from the outset.

This is a full-time role, working 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

As a Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery setting
  • Maintain high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
  • Oversee staff performance and drive team development
  • Ensure a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Promote children’s language, communication, and social development

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Holds Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience working with young children in a nursery setting
  • Has prior supervisory or Deputy Manager experience
  • Has strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, Ofsted regulations, and safeguarding procedures
